Stereoscopic 3D: the new audio-visual revolution ! S-3D CAMPUS offers training courses given by renowned specialists (stereographers, production managers, consultants or special effects managers). With a great variety of international participants (among trainers as well as trainees), S-3D CAMPUS encourages sharing ideas and talent. Its unique scope makes S-3D CAMPUS an active player in the development of a European network helping technicians and creators learn all about stereoscopic 3D. In 2011, S-3D CAMPUS offers two new and original courses: the first presents the full S-3D production chain, from filming to screening, while the second has participants produce a short film in 3D from A to Z… In June, 2010, 35 trainees from all continents gathered near Paris to take part in S-3D CAMPUS’ first course. Over the course’s 5 days, participants from 13 countries – directors, producers, post-producers, directors of photography, researchers, teachers – enjoyed the teachings and the experience of a dozen trainers with strong expertise in S-3D.
